T'was a peaceful day in the city, the sun was shining, rather bright today, but everyone carried about their buisness. A gurgling noise was heard, with questioning heroes, they looked about, finding that the water flow throughout the city had stopped... "What could this be?" they wondered. As two heroes searched the city trying to find out what was going on, Alp Alp had the idea "It's the sewer men! They're taking our water!". Extyl wasn't easy to believe this. As they went to inspect the last place they could imagine being empty, the temple... Gasps were released in shock as this had never happened before. Damien Ashdon approaches them, questioning them about the commotion. With a brief explanation they went off to check the main fountain for Damien to see for himself. It was empty, as it was before when Alp Alp and Extyl had checked it. With swift action the heroes entered the sewers, finding that the water down there had been drained as well... Though the walls lay damp. They searched about, coming across the water intake for the water system. After crawling through the bars to get to the other side, they found that the main intake was actually blocked off by fallen dirt and sand. They cleared out the rubble. As water flowed back into the city system, restoring the water supplies, they found that their entrance beforehand had been filled with water. Damien, not afraid of a bit of water took a dive to go through, however with the swimming aspect mixed in he was slightly off coarse and got gouged by the bars... Alp Alp and Extyl decided it would be better to try and find an exit from where they were... With this they traveled out of the water intake to find, to their surprise, how far back the taint had been pushed back from the nest destruction... It was the first sign of the world possibly returning back to normal. They returned towards Aquitus, fending off the little amount of creatures that venture from the taint. They cleared a path through the once great wall of taint, allowing access out of the North side of the city...
